Apologetically Late Post - Amidst Post Prep

Man I always hate it when bloggers I follow fall off the face of the earth - sigh, pot calling the kettle black much? Like many of my foreign service colleagues, I find myself blaming my absence on being so tired and caught up with training and getting ready for post. I'm headed to London in late June and Brenden will be joining me soon after :) We're super excited for our lives to start in the UK, although more than a little apprehensive about stretching every dollar in Western Europe. We won't be DINKs at first since Brenden will be pursuing his MBA.

In non-work related news, the NBA playoffs have me riled up - just gotta say, regardless of what happens to my C's, it's been one of the most exciting playoffs in a long time! As long as Miami/LA doesn't win, I will be happy :) Congrats to Derrick Rose - the youngest NBA player to get the MVP award. LBJ, you have a lot to learn from him in the class & humility arena!

PS - SOOO excited for Team USA competing in basketball next summer!!
