~6 weeks to London!

People keep asking how the preparation is going for getting to post - I must say making an international move for the umpteenth time but for the 1st time with movers is an amazing feeling! The movers keep calling to see if they can help with preparation and I have to say, I appreciate the coddling :) Good thing B doesn't have much stuff to bring down so we can do 1 comprehensive packout here in DC.

I know I'll be totally swamped once I get to post but I'm itching to get out of DC. This is how you know I was made for the foreign service: it hasn't been a full year yet that I've been back from Egypt and I'm already dying to go abroad again. Don't get me wrong, I'll miss being in my comfort zone but it's so true - once you sip the expat koolaid, you can't stop.

In training news, I start PD statecraft tomorrow - woooo! Took a 3-day outreach diplomacy class last week and it was so easy for me to get pumped about PD work. SO excited to do in-cone work in my 1st tour.
