Celtics Training Camp Begins!

I've brought my Celtics fever w/ me to Cairo. Training camp has begun back in Massachusetts and I wonder how my players are doing. Rondo, KG, Pierce, Big Baby, new addition Rasheed, Ray, I worry about them all. Let's see what's going on w/ them:

Kevin Garnett: After last season's serious knee injury, all of us Celtics fans have been eagerly waiting to hear what KG's status would be for this season. As of yesterday's Media Day, sounds like KG is ready to go!!
"Right now, there are no medical restrictions on any player, and that's good," Rivers told Boston.com during Celtics media day on Monday. Rivers told reporters the team will forgo two-a-days and practice one per day this preseason. Garnett will take part in most drills, but Rivers joked that he might have to convince the fiery forward to sit out some reps.
Rajon Rondo: Rajon is on board to be a Celtic for this year and October 31 will tell us the status of his future presence on the team. Meanwhile, he's added 11 pounds of muscle after this summer's training.

Rasheed Wallace: While Perkins might think 'Sheed is scary, at least thus far it seems as if Celtics team members are giving Rasheed a try, I for sure will like to see how he works w/ KG and other teammates when he has a history of 296 career technical fouls and 24 ejections.

Ray Allen: Looks like Ray is geared up and ready to go after #18 this season. Was quoted yesterday to say, "You learn more when you lose."

Upcoming NBA season should be gutwrenching and crazy, I can't believe I'll be watching it from Cairo! Shaq has partnered with LeBron, and if King James doesn't win the crown this time, his window of opportunity closes somewhat. San Antonio reloaded. Washington could be a lot better. Atlanta, Chicago, Orlando and Dallas are tough.
