Nevada's Senate Race (Angle vs. Reid) - This Can't be Real!

As I try to get back into the US politics scene, I notice that Nevada has a tight Senate race to look forward to this November. Democratic candidate and current Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is up against newcomer Republican candidate Sharron Angle. We all know a lot about Harry but what do you know about Sharron? Before today, I had no idea who this woman is. Well while she graces the Hill today for the first time, let me help you out with some tidbits about her:

"The U.N. has been captured by the far left and has become ineffective and costly. The U.N. continually threatens U.S. sovereignty, with endless rhetoric and treaties and it has now become the "umpire" on fraudulent science, such as global warming. The United State needs to withdraw from the United Nations and work solely with America's willing allies."
"The Department of Education is unconstitutional and should not be involved in education, at any level. Agencies, such as the Department of Education, have given Americans a one-size-fits-all policy and programs that fit no one, i.e. No Child Left Behind. NCLB has burdened classrooms and hamstrung teachers with testing and regulation...The best education is the education that is controlled closest to the local level as possible. Sharron Angle believes that parents should have alternative choices and advocates for home school, vouchers and charter schools."
"'I'm a clean-air proponent,' Angle said in an interview. 'I don't, however, buy into the whole ... man-caused global warming, man-caused climate change mantra of the left. I believe that there's not sound science to back that up.'"
Harry needs to get his act together, thankfully Obama is scheduled to make his 2nd appearance in NV on Reid's behalf next month. I don't know what to say if NV actually elects this woman to the Senate...

    1. You forgot to mention how Angle has proposed the country reinstate prohibition. Fascinating since she would be representing a state that includes Las Vegas!
