I don't blame our friends and family who constantly ask us if there any updates in evacuation-land, I myself ponder it all the time and wish there was SOMETHING new. Sometimes I think, wow it's been awhile and then sometimes I'm like, I guess it hasn't been too long since we've been stuck in this predicament. Lately work has picked up a little, trying to keep busy with lots of meetings to discuss PD work and what it could look like in Egypt. I have moments where I rethink how I feel about potentially going to Egypt on my own if it becomes unaccompanied and I've convinced myself that maybe it won't be so bad after all. There's so much discussion out there and trying to make sense of what could happen to our tour...
Will this assignment get broken?
Will I go if it becomes unaccompanied?
What happens if I have to bid again?
Will I get a visa mill?
Is a PD tour just not an option if they break this tour?
It really sucks to be in this situation, everyday I yearn for just a hint of clarity. Can't make plans for anything even though I'm pretty sure we'll be here come November.
As usual...once I know anything, will keep everyone posted.
